From our Colombo correspondent

Colombo, 14 February, (Asiantribune.com): Only one week to go for the crucial cease-fire talks to take place in Geneva the Liberation Tigers have not yet shown any interest over the release of two Sri Lankan Government Policemen keeping under their custody since September last year.

"There is no new development on the release of two Policemen", said SLMM Spokeswoman Helan Ollaffsdottir.

The LTTE , following the announcement of the ceasefire talks in Geneva, on January 26th on a good will gesture released one of the three Policemen who were kept under their arrest since September last year.

The three Policemen attached to National Child Protection Authority, one Sub Inspector, a Police sergeant and a Constable were taken under LTTE arrest on September 09 when they entered LTTE controlled Arippu area in Mannar, in the North Western part of the country hunting for a foreign pedophile.
