[b]Islamabad, 21 February, (Asiantribune.com): [/b]President Pervez Musharraf expressed deep condolences and regrets over the killing of three Chinese engineers in Pakistan promising the harshest punishment for the culprits.

"The man in the street (in Pakistan) loves the Chinese," President Musharraf told China's Chairman National People's Congress Wu Bangguo during a meeting at the People's Great Hall in Beijing.

Expressing concern and grief over the recent terrorist act in which three Chinese engineers were killed, he said there is a small number of terrorists who do not want development of Sino-Pak ties to flourish.

Musharraf, expressed Pakistan's "regret and condolences" over the killings. He promised the "strongest and harshest punishment" for the attackers.
