New South Wales’ Government School building is used to Commemorate "LTTE’s Suicide Squad's Day" in Australia.

From our correspondent in Sydney

Sydney, 12 July, (asiantribune.com): Sri Lankan Tamils in Sydney commemorated Black Tiger Day dedicated to the memory of deadly suicide bombers belonging to the Sri Lankan Terrorist organisation, the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). The well-attended Tamil Tiger function was held in Homebush, Sydney on Sunday the 11th July at a time when ordinary Australians and the Australian leaders joined the rest of the world in condemning the London terrorist bombings.

Black Tigers are members of a special army of young men and women suicide bombers who are credited with the assassinations of the former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, former Sri Lankan President Ranasinghe Premadasa, and attempted assassination of the present Sri Lankan President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga. They have in the past carried out scores of suicide bombings in Sri Lanka killing hundreds of innocent people. According to Robert Pape, a professor at the University of Chicago and an expert on suicide terrorism, Tamil Tigers are the leading practitioners of suicide terrorism.

The Sydney commemoration meeting felicitating the memory of the deadly Tamil Tiger suicide bombers comes only three days after the London terrorist bombings and in the wake of reports in the Indian press that the LTTE is training human bomb squads for the Nepal’s Maoist rebels. According to this Indian news report which appeared in the South Asian Tribune, Tamil Tigers have trained four human bomb squads of Nepali women each consisting of twenty young women. Similarly 12 squads of mixed suicide bombers, each consisting of forty young boys and girls had been trained by the Sri Lankan Tamil rebels to conduct suicide operations in Nepal and India. It said that according to Nepali Moaist rebel sources, a training camp of the Tamil Tigers is being run at district Narkatiaganj and Ghorasahan, the latter location is in the Indian state of Bihar near Nepali borders.

The Sydney Black Tiger commemoration function was organised by the Tamil Coordinating Committee (TCC), an LTTE front organisation and was held at the Homebush Boys High School, a New South Wales Government school. Though the LTTE is banned in Australia as a terrorist organisation, the deadly Sri Lankan terrorist outfit conducts its activities through front organisations such as the TCC.

Activists of the LTTE front organisations in Australia have befriended leading Australian politicians including Federal Members of Parliament who actively canvass support for their causes. Questions are being asked by Tamils opposed to the LTTE as to how the New South Wales State Government authorities have allowed the use of a public building to conduct a meeting to commemorate suicide killers when the whole world is condemning terrorists.
