CHSGA organizes Hotel Show 2010

hotel_show.jpgThe organizers of the Hotels source products and services Show – Hotel Show 2010 at a press conference held Taj Samudra Hotel indicated that they have identified many areas of products and services which they plan to attract exhititors from all parts of the world.

Hotel Show 2010 will be held from the 16th to 18th July 2010 at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre and over 200 exhibitors from over 30 countries are expected to participate in the Show.

With the ending of the war and a lasting peace expected, the predicted tourism boom, has created a major need for infrastructure development which includes new investments and upgrading of hotels specially in new parts of the island such as Trincomalee, Pasikudah, Aarugambay, Kalpitiya and Jaffna opening up for tourism.

The organizers indicated that the 2010 Hotel Show will be a major ground for sourcing because it would be impossible to achieve a 2.5 million tourist arrivals by 2016 without building new infrastructure.

Hotel Show 2010 Sri Lanka is poised to be the biggest regional Hotel Show in this part of the world and the organizers expect to attract visitors from India, Maldives, Bangladesh Pakistan and Nepal.
