This will be an exhibition of Gems, Minerals, Jewelers and Gemological equipment. This year too, there are competitions to select the Best Cut Gemstone, Gem Studded Jewelry, Crystal and Gemological Photograph said Ruzwan Kamil, Chairman Jewels 2009.
Once again, the Principal sponsor of this event is the National Gem and Jewelry Authority, who has made it possible to hold this exhibition, thus enabling GASL to achieve its goal of bringing Gemology out of textbooks and making it a real time experience to the people of Sri Lanka.
Jewels 2009 will enable you to observe, buy and test all types of Gems and Jewelry under one roof. There will also be heat treatment demonstrations, modern and traditional gem cutting in action which will be a great experience to many.
This event will attract a large crowd of gem enthusiasts, gem dealers, jewelers, apiarists, collectors, students and the general public as a result of the previous successful exhibitions and the integrated marketing campaign during the festive season.
Jewels 2009 will make you a proud owner of a natural gem with the purchase of every entrance ticket. So make sure you visit Jewels 2009 and don’t miss out on this great opportunity, said Ruzwan Kamil.
