General Fonseka called a Sunday Times columnist and told him with tongue-in-cheek , that the Tamil civilians were killed in Vanni on the instruction of the Defence secretary.
Blaming the Defence Secretary is the new propaganda ploy unleashed by the former Army Commander. Unfortunately before the blame game takeoff, his campaign has crash-landed.
Earlier this particular columnist life was threatened by the same General and he was forced to temporarily give up his report on situation.
The same General invited the columnist and appeared to be very friendly and even pat the columnist on his belly, bantered with him and said he is always welcome at his office.
The General’s office is located at Rajakeeya Road, Colombo 7, opposite to the Royal College.
This was the office which is being rented out at Rs. 1 million per month and already a total of Rs. 12 million has been paid as one year advance.
In the meantime rumors are afloat that Norway has already dispatched Kronor 20 million through an NGO in Colombo for the election funding.

So sad to see onetime hero becoming a low grade,cheap politician....it seems that real SF is being exposed...up to recently his low qualities were coverd by his uniform but now being exposed.No debate he was a good warrior but has become a worst politician...another Muthuhettigama ....I think he should be emmidiatly referred to a Psychiatry.
Ranil thinks that he can
Ranil thinks that he can become Acting PM when Fonseka come into power. But US led western counties have other agenda on him. Do you remember how they brought Serbian PM Slobodan Miloshowic to Hague? They fist installed puppet government Vojislav Kostunica, a law professor and political outsider as a President in Serbia and demanded them to hand over Miloshowik, if they want to join European Union and to get aids to rebuild the county. (Was destroyed by NATO bombing) Even though he was a hero in Serbia,-despite the protest of the people, he was bundled and sent to face war crimes charges and died while in custody.
This is the same game plan in Sri-Lanka. If Fonseka come to power he will send President Rajapaksa and Gotabhaya to face human right violation charges and he himself will be a witness.
Present US ambassador in SL was working in Serbia at that time and she helped to plan this game. Now she is here in SL to hatch another game. Few days before Fonseka met her. Last time when he was in US he had agreed to meet US officials and due to SL protest he return back. But nobody knows what kind of things happened unofficially.
Still his one foot in SL and the other foot in US even though he is contesting the presidency. Still he is holding his Green Card and wants to go to US. How can he say is a true Patriotic Son of Sri-Lanka.
SF has become the cheapest
SF has become the cheapest political animal in this century...it is so irritating and ugly to see some of his comments.I can't beleive how this type of higher ranking General becomes so cheapt.During his 40 year army career he seems to have improved only military tactics to kill people(terrorists or ...) but not to have improved human values or qualities.This disgreatfull General's fate will be so pathetic.God bless this poor creature!

The people writing comments also should read two articles written by Mr. Rajasinham exposing SF of various un lawful activities elsewhere in Asian Tribune. The articles briefly describe some of his junior days rendezvous. He has been an undisciplined soldier at its best. MR for having promoted him and calling him to be Army Commander has made a bitter mistake. The people who are talking about nepotism, this is a good lesson. Lucky the president had his own brother as the defense Secretary. CBK had her own uncle to be the defense secretary. Conduct of this type of people makes it impossible for the executive to hold trust on out sliders.
