Chandrasekhar Rao claims continuing fast-unto-death

From Gopal Ethiraj, Chennai
Chennai, 01 December (Asiantribune.com):

Fast.jpgTelangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President K Chandrasekhar Rao who started his fast-unto-death for Telangana statehood, on Monday morning, claimed in the night he has not stopped his protest.

In a sudden development, Mr. Rao called off his indefinite fast in a hospital in Khammam on Monday evening. This created adverse reactions from his followers and sharp criticism from students and other Telangana protagonists who slammed his decision to withdraw the fast.

Hence Rao's claim of continuing his fast came. "I was forcibly taken to hospital, administered saline and made to drink juice. This is a conspiracy by the government. I am continuing my fast," he told a news channel.

Earlier, Rao was taken to the hospital from jail following an advice by a team of doctors sent by the state government from Hyderabad and he broke his fast by drinking juice offered to him by the doctors at the government hospital where he was treated.
