LTTE’s Biggest Ship Seized & Brought to Colombo

Colombo, 21 December, (Asiantribune.com):
MV 'Princess Christina'; a ship belonged to the LTTE terror outfit was seized and brought to the Colombo Harbor this morning (December 21) by the Sri Lanka Navy, the Media Centre for National Security (MCNS) announced.
Navy officials revealed that this should be the largest LTTE arms smuggling ship and they also suspect that there were any moves by the LTTE’s slain leader V. Prabhakaran had any plans to flee from the country using this hip.
The ship is almost 90 meters in length and according to the intelligence Units the ship has been utilized for arms smuggling and human trafficking during the period of war.
The government sources said that all the assets being acquired will be utilized for the development of the country considering the fact that they all belong to the people of the country.
Intelligence Units also believed in that the LTTE had around 10 ships and this could b the largest they had. Anyway, this is first LTTE ship acquired by the Sri Lankan forces.
