Radar- Gate: Kickbacks to Foneska’s Danuna in China Radar Deal: Eight Questions To The General

Comments

Silence is not innocence

Indeed as the AT Editor has said on this occassion and on previous one's where he exposed possible shady deals involving the General's son in law, and possibly the General himself, the challenge before Sarath Fonseka is to offer his responses to the questions noted in this expose and questions raised in previous one's. If this is not done, the readers could justifiably conclude that what the AT has stated is correct and there is a lot of stench behind the General. It will be a great pity if the General doesnt come clean in order to be the "Mr Clean" who wants to clean others people's alleged dirt. It wouldnt do any good for Sri Lanka if the General becomes the President while carrying a lot of baggage and many skeletons in his cupboard. If President wins a second term as expected, he should appoint an independent commission of enquiry to probe all these exposures and establish their veracity, and bring culprits to justice. He should also invite anyone who has allegations against him or any of his brothers to bring those before this commission so that they can be investigated and culprits brought to justice. The constant carping about corruption surrounding the Rajapaksa family will then cease. If any of it is established as correct, then they too must pay the price for such activities.
