Pakistani opposition party calls for dialogue with Taliban

Peshawar, 09 January, (Asiantribune.com):

Nawaz of the opposition party Pakistan Muslim League has called for composite dialogue with the Taliban to stop the bloodshed in the country.

Speaking to media at the organizing committee meeting of the party in Jaghra village, here the central leader of the PML-N Ihsan Iqbal said the government is not following the war on terror policy approved by the parliament.

He says going for military action without dialogue with the warring militants has caused the bloodshed all over the country

The chief organizer of the party Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan says if the United States is willing to hold talks with the Taliban than Pakistani government should go for dialogue to stop the bloodshed.

He says the presence of American forces in Afghanistan is the root cause of terrorism in the region and the PML-N condemn all such aggressions including the drone strikes in Pakistan.

He says their party demands the implementation of the Supreme Court verdict on NRO and the recovery of the looted money from t he corrupts.

Ihsan Iqbal says the Karachi blast was a well-planned conspiracy and high level inquiry should be conducted to bring the culprits to book.
