The TNA Has Lost Completely Its Voter Base
Tamil National Alliance (TNA) even after they were shown a bright political future, they are still working for the needs of international conspiracies to separate the country, said by former United National Party National Organizer S.B. Dissanayake at a press briefing held in Colombo.
“TNA supports the opposition’s common candidate General Sarath Fonseka not because of they wanted to do so, but for the influence which they received from international sympathizing agents of the LTTE terror outfit. Though the LTTE was defeated in Sri Lanka, its international allies are still functioning”, Dissanayake said.
He further said that TNA has already been busted into several factions and lost their voter base completely. “Each and every citizen who suffered under the LTTE’s terrorism during last three decades are now with the United People’s Freedom Alliance candidate President Mahinda Rajapaksha as they know he is the leader who created for them a free environment to live in peace”, he added.
Meanwhile, another former UNP stalwart Minister Rajitha Senarathne at a press briefing at the Government Information Department said that the Tamil National Alliance did not have a voter base even in the North and East provinces even before the defeat of the LTTE.
‘Mahinda Rajapaksha led the United Peoples Freedom Alliance have made a free country to live in and mega development projects have been implemented to provide them infrastructure facilities. That is what the North and East people asked from the politicians throughout the years and President Rajapaksha turned their dream into a reality within a very short period’, the Minister Senarathne added.
