Rajapaksha is far ahead of his rival in a sample survey

Stockholm, 26 January, (Asiantribune.com):

The gallop poll we opened for a sample study who our readers would like to vote, gave 89 per cent votes for Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksha and 10 per cent for Gen Sarath Fonseka. And one per cent was undecided. This survey gives nearly nine times more chance for Rajapaksha to win in the elections.

The poll was open from midnight of January 23 to midnight of January 25—for two full days. 2242 voted in the gallop poll, out of which 1989 was for Mahinda Rajapaksha, and a mere 229 for Fonseka The former registers 10 times more votes than the later.

Although our readers are spread over the globe, the majority of them are from Sri Lanka. Hence the sample survey a 10 % on either side, and still Rajapaksha leaves his rival Fonseka far behind.

Mahinda Rajapakksa is one of

Mahinda Rajapakksa is one of the greatest sons of mother Lanka who rescued the country from menace of terrorism and brought the whole nation under one flag. Therefore, the Sri Lanka electorate, as a supreme duty and a great responsibility, should re-elect this charismatic, courageous and experienced leader for the country’s top post.By electing to country's highest post, we could show gratitude to him for the noble service done to the nation.

Historians and writers of The Mahavamsa should dedicate a special chapter for this great leader and his name should be written in golden letters as a King who saved the nation from 21st century ‘invasions’.I consider, this brave and prudent leader is only second to The King Vijayabahu the 1st ( 1053 AD-1110 AD)who chased the south Indian invaders, Cholas, from this beautiful island in 11th century AD.
