Sarath Fonseka yet did not cast his vote

Sarath Fonseka has so far not cast his vote. Questions are being raised about this issue.

Army sources told that he did not cast his vote even in the 2005 Presidential election. They said after obtaining his Green Card, he did not exercise his franchise in any election in the country.

It is further said that at the time of writing this news item, he is on his way to Ambalangoda his home town. There is a speculation that he might cast his vote there.

However it is still unclear whether he has been registered as a voter in the country.
