Sri Lanka Presidential Election: The first result goes on Mahinda’s way

Colombo, 27 January, (Asiantribune.com):

The postal votes counted in the Ratnapura District shows that incumbent President Mahinda Rajapaksa obtained 9,458 votes which was percentage 69.33%

Sarath Fonseka polled 4,143 votes which was 30.37%

Total votes polled was 13642 and votes rejected was 111.
