Ponna-seka and his cabaret
At least the opposition has got some brains to close down the office which they have paid Rs. 1 million a month. The government should investigate how this money came to opposition coffers. Ranil is running this bogus opposition to make money, not to serve the country. This same thing is happening in many countries where unpopular dictators run the country for a western master who is lavishly pouring resources for this course. The actions of Norway, Denmark, US, England, France and Germany are very suspicious. The Sri Lankan government should penetrate into these societies and expose these corrupt politicians who are misusing the state money. We know a few undesirable LTTE elements are behind those decisions. Even in Canada this conduct of LTTE is well known. They group up and lavishly treat these western politicians to do the opposite of what they are supposed to do. During the war British and French foreign ministers to visit Sri Lanka with a request to stop the war itself is difficult to understand at best of terms. Where they join the Americans to get rid of the terrorism in the Middle East how on earth they try to safeguard another bunch of terrorists in another country. Are they giving a message that they are fighting only against Muslim terrorists?
Then the very organisations talking about freedoms of press have gone to town to slander the incumbent president with various allegations without proof. Look at Lanka Guardian, who is beaming lies across the world without recourse for correction by any readers. Basil Fernando who is a director of the so called Human Rights Council of Asia has a personal vendetta against MR. Then he has got a bunch of writers who writes on themes of corrupt media practice. As if these people are paid by someone to write LTTE master pieces under different ethnic names. And some of these high sounding names who are beaming this rubbish should be revisited. The undemocracy of western democracies should be exposed. Behind most of these high sounding names of organizations, there are only one or two people funded by western governments to destabilize countries around the world. Like Canadian Tax Payers Federation which was in existence when the liberal party was in power was lead by a hand few group lead by the current Prime Minister. However, we should give credit to the current Canadian Prime Minister for outlawing the LTTE as a terrorist organization.
