Sarath Fonseka Arrested By Military Police

The former Army Commander General Retiref Sarath Fonseka has been arrested around 10 PM on Monday at his house .

Already Asian Tribune has reported that Sarath Fonseka might be arrested and court martialed for charges of conduct unbecoming of an officer and a gentleman while he was in service.

Sri Lankia Army’s Military Police arrested Sarath Fonsek on Monday evening.

Army sources told that after committing felony whilst in service as Army commander, as well as Chief of Defence Staff, he was trying to bully his way to escape arrest and questioning.

Army sources told Asian Tribune that he was arrested for involvement in political activities whilst in active military service.
