Sri Lanka: Appointment of New Hony. Consul for Sri Lanka in Croatia

The Government of Sri Lanka has appointed Mr. Marko Vojkovic, as the new Hony. Consul for Sri Lanka in Croatia.

The Commission of Appointment signed by Rohitha Bogollagama, Minister of Foreign Affairs was handed over to Mr. Vojkovic on 4th February 2010 in Vienna, by Mr. M.M. Jaffeer, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Austria with concurrent accreditation to the Republic of Croatia.

Mr. Vojkovic, is the Chairman and President of the Board of Directors of adriatica.net Group, a leading organization of travel agencies and tour operators in the region and President of the Croatian Business leaders Forum.

Mr. Vojkovic succeeds Dr. Vlatko Rukavina, the former Hony. Consul who retired with effect from 31 July 2008.
