A helping hand to tourists

As part of its initiative to help tourists, the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) has enabled tourists to purchase Platinum/Gold card on line.
Tourists have to upload their photos to get the cards issued on line.
In a release, TTDC Managing Director A.C. Mohandoss said the card provided 20 per cent discount in tariff in TTDC hotels.
During season, the discount would be 10 per cent. Besides, there was 10 per cent discount on boating and catering facilities provided by the Corporation.
The Gold card is priced at Rs.1,000 with three-year validity and Platinum card at Rs.5,000 with 10-year validity, Mohandoss said
