Pakistani Sikh beheaded by suspected milita
The beheaded body of a Sikh who was allegedly kidnapped by the militants was found in northwest Pakistan.
The beheaded body of deceased Jaspal Singh who was kidnapped from Tirrah Valley (Khyber Agency) by militants was found in Aurakzai Agency on Sunday morning.
A letter has also been found with the body warning the Sikhs of suicide attacks if they reported the matter to the media or the authorities.
The deceased Jaspal Singh along with two other companions was kidnapped by the suspected militants sometimes back.
Two other companions, Gorwandar Singh and Srujeet Singh of the deceased Jaspal Sing are still in the captivity of the kidnappers.
The body of the deceased Jaspal Singh was brought to Peshawar, where his last rituals are being held at Mohallah Jogan Shah in Dabgari area.
No one has claimed the responsibility for the killing but sources say the Aurakzai based militants are believed to be involved in the incident.
Some officials also say that the militants and extremist elements in Aurakzai and Tirrah Valley of Khyber Agency had been charging Jazai or Islamic Tax from these non Muslims on the pretext of providing security to them and their business in these areas.
A large number of Sikhs had even migrated from the Aurakzai Agency after threats by the Hakimullah Mehsud led militants who warned them to pay the tax or leave the agency.
The terrorists group had killed thousands of Pakistanis in suicide bombs.
Many have been beheaded by militants on one or other pretext mostly on charges of spying.
Pakistanis Sikhs in FATA who mostly own good business and land for the last many centuries are fresh victims of these militants.
