CIA warns of al-Qaida threat to India, Brazil

From R.Vasudevan –Reporting from New Delhi
New Delhi, 10 March (Asiantribune.com) :

The CIA on Tuesday warned India and Brazil that they face "emerging threats" from al-Qaida and Taliban, though the terrorist outfits are "on the run" due to extreme pressure exerted on them in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

CIA Director Leon Panetta, said that the US spy agency has a "fundamental duty to provide warning and prevent surprise," which also refers to "emerging threats" to nations like Brazil and India, indicating the need for growing cooperation between the US and India on intelligence sharing. Intense operations have put top al-Qaida and Taliban leaders under extreme pressure and "many of them are on the run," Panetta claimed.

He said "Our counter-terrorism operation have put top al-Qaida leaders under intense pressure and much of their network has been disrupted." He said that American efforts both in Afghanistan and Pakistan were aimed at hitting command and control centres of the al-Qaida.

Panetta's claim comes as Pakistani forces with the help of CIA have captured some top Taliban commanders, including the outfits No 2 Mulla Abdul Ghani Baradar.

Al-Qaida and Taliban threat

Al-Qaida and Taliban threat in Brazil? What?

More like CIA threat to India and Brazil coming under the guise of "Al-Qaida and Taliban". Lest we forget that the vicious sectarian violence and essential civil war which gripped post-invaded Iraq from 2003-2008 was created by the Western occupiers as part of their war against Islam. It was done to severely weaken and brake the people and sow division and hatred. Western agents would plant bombs, shoot into crowds pitting one group against another, causing retaliatory "strikes" and revenge attacks -some of which were carried out by the West themselves. All done to take Iraq which had good infrastructure, medical and educational facilities build by Saddam that was still standing after the invasion (and did not fall for "collateral damage") to be ripped to shreds taking the country and people back to the stone age. This then provides the ability to control the population, play hate politics with the newly inflicted or severely exasperated division along with bringing complete misery to the civilian population which is then made worse due to the violence and break down of services such as food, water, electricity and healthcare. Then low behold the West comes in as the "neutral" saviours between the two/three communities, providing "jobs", "education", "free goods to win hearts and minds". Literally they destroy the infrastructure so they have contracts for their own companies to "rebuild" (which falls under the Wests lovely "aid" programmes, where the "cost" is taken from the country, passed onto the suffering masses, creating artificial "debt" making the people forever indentured to the West as they have to repay). Creating absolute human misery then topping it off with financial debt is the way these “human rights champions” force resistant population to “submit” to the clearly more “civilised” West. Western standards of judging whether you are civilised or not depends on how much fire power you have and how well you carry out slaughters and destruction.
Its a tried old tactic pioneered by the lesser European “powers” when they ravaged the world and refined by the British (see Sri Lanka).

Divide and Conquer -it was repeated in Afghanistan between the Pashtuns and the other ethnic groups.
