IFMA National Muaythai Championship at Jammu

Kohima, 06 September, (Asiantribune.com):

Under the theme “Muaythai Against Drugs,” IFMA India National Muaythai Championship 2010 will be organized from October 15 – 17, 2010 at Maulana Azad Stadium, Jammu.

Jammu and Kashmir Muaythai Association (JKMA), an MFI-affiliated unit in the state, is organizing this mega National Muaythai Championship, which will be conducted under the aegis of Muaythai Federation of India (MFI).

Over 400 players and about 50 officials from 28 states and 2 Union Territories from across the country will be attending the Championship.

MFI Executive Members, IFMA leaders, officials from Indian Olympic Association (IOA), leaders from various National Sporting Federations and high ranking central and state officials are among others who are attending this historic mega National Championship at Jammu.

MFI President Oken Jeet Sandham will supervise the 3-day National Championship.
Prominent MFI leaders from Manipur O Manglemjao, MFI General Secretary, L Kenney, MFI Executive Member, Ng Jeet, MFI Joint Secretary and N Mahendra, MFI Technical Board Secretary are also attending the Championship.

The Championship is being organized under Rules and Regulations of IFMA (International Federation of Muaythai Amateur).
