Sathya Saibaba Clinically Dead: Trust decides to keep him on Ventilator
The living god of lakhs and lakhs of devotees all over the world, P uttaparthi Sathya Saibaba is “Clinically Dead,” according to the sources from 'Sathya Sai Multi Specialiity Hospital, where he is monitored by doctors from all over the world.
The source told 'Asian Tribune' over phone that the Saiba Baba Trust authorities decided to keep him on Ventilator until they finish some formalities to make the announcement of the passing away of Sai Baba.
Taking a cue from a recent Supreme Court Judgment that has ruled against positive euthanasia, a high level meeting including members of the Sathya Sai Central Trust on Saturday decided to keep the spiritual leader on Ventilation till as long as necessary.

A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting at Puttaparthi attended by Adhara Pradesh Major Industries Minister and Baba devotee Ms J Geeta Reddy. principal secretary of the finance department, L V Subramanyam, Director of Medical Education Ravi Raj from the government side, and K Chakaravarti, Indulal Shah, W Sreenivasan and R J Rathnakar on behalf of the Trust.
This decision is likely to gladden the lakhs of devotees of the Baba who are fervently praying for a miracle that will see their spiritual leader up and about.
After discussing the critical condition of the 86 year old Sai Baba, the members at the meeting discussed as to how long it would be advisable to keep him on ventilation.
Vital organs are collapsing
According to the latest medical report, despite the heart, liver and kidneys of Baba being on support systems, all the vital organs are collapsing.
In the end it was decided that Sai Baba will be kept on ventilation as long as it is necessary and "so long that his heart beats," top sources said.
"Keeping in view the recent Supreme Court of India ruling that euthanasia was not a permissible for nurse Aruna Shanbaug, it was decided that the trust members and the authorities in question will not exercise the option of terminating the ventilator support to the Baba", sources added.
