Festival of Lights (Deepavali) celebrated in Warsaw

Warsaw, 18 November, (Asiantribune.com):
For the second consecutive year, the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Poland celebrated the Festival of Lights ‘Deepavali’ on Monday 12th November along with many members from the Tamil community living in Poland as well as from other communities.
Ambassador Pamela J. Deen addressing the participants observed that such occasions create much needed harmony in the Sri Lankan community living in Poland. Participants also brought various sweet meats for the celebration.
The Embassy premises were decorated with colorful lights for the occasion.
