Dr. Mrs. Kifaya Ifthikar told Asian Tribune that Rizana Nafeek was not aware of her impending plight when she met her last and told that she looked very healthy, though there was a streak sadness and frustration clearly visible in her face and she showed her longing in going back to Sri Lanka to be with her parents, sisters, brothe and with all her Sri Lankan friends and people.
The Dental Surgeon who visited Dawdami prison to meet Rizana Nafeek said as usual she dialed in her mobile phone the contact number of her parents in Muthur, Trincomalee and allowed her to speak to her parents and family members.

She said, “We are still not exhausted with our options to save her from execution.
She also said, “we still could pray for the poor little girl and pray to Almighty to convey all our prayers, pleadings and appeal to the parents of the Saudi infant boy who died while Rizana was bottle-feeding, to show compassion, forgiveness and mercy on the girl from Sri Lanka and pardon her in the name God - Merciful and Compassionate .
Dr. Kifaya Ifthikar speaking to Asian Tribune also said, undoubtedly Sri Lanka President not only as the head of Sri Lanka Government, but more than that as a father, a responsible fatherly figure has done and still doing everything possible for the release of this little innocuous little girl from Muthur”.
