Divineguma Bill passed with amendments in Parliament

Colombo, 08 January, (Asiantribune.com):
The Divineguma Bill was passed with amendments in Parliament this evening with a majority of 107 votes. 160 voted in favor of the Bill while 53 voted against it.
The UNP, JVP and TNA voted against the bill, while 11 MPs abstained from voting.
More than 10 Amendments were made to the Bill before it was presented to Parliament today.
