Mass prayer campaign for the release of Rizana Nafeek

Colombo, 08 January, (Asiantribune.com):

Alavi Moulana, Governor of the Western Province and Minister Rishad Bathiyutheen told Asian Tribune that they intend to organize a mass prayer campaign tomorrow in all mosques in Sri Lanka for the release of Rizana Nafeek, Sri Lankan Housemaid whose execution has become very imminent.

Governor Alavi Moulana told Asian Tribune that he was involved in her release eight from the beginning and he will continue to work for her release .. Inshallah, God willing.

Minister Rishad Bathiyutheen appealed to Muslims all over the world to pray for the Sri Lankan Housemaid Rizana Nafeek’s release and for her return to Sri Lanka.

He told Asian Tribune that he will contact All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama and request them to organize prayers in all mosques in Sri Lanka for the release of Rizana Nafeek.

All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama is the apex religious body of Islamic Theologians that provides religious and community leadership to the Sri Lankan Muslim Community who are 9.6% of the total population of the country.
