Naughty boy Shane Warne

By S.H.Moulana - Riyadh

Former Australian spinner Shane Warne has defended his behavior after his confrontation with West Indian batsman Marlon Samuel in the Big Bash tournament played in Australia but who is prepared to accept his lame excuses.Shane_Warn.jpg

We all know that he has a problem with his temper which he loses very easily. The serious aspect that needs to be addressed is that the ‘Big Bash’ is a tournament hosted by Australian Cricket and invited guest nation players should be treated with respect like in other countries and not to be manhandled or insulted in the field while being watched by millions of fans all over the world.

Warne has a pension for his bad behavior on and off the field. Despite his cricketing ability he does not seem to posses the quality to behave like a gentleman while playing this gentlemanly game.

While watching him play I have never thought of him as a character to be savored but the ‘bull-fighter’ like behavior of his with Samuel, certainly, was the worst ever seen in the history of cricket in any part of the world and by any player. Even the Australian cricket board has warned other Aussie cricketers not to follow Warne as an example.

Does he know that what he plays is ‘not cricket’! I guess that he should have taken up to rugby instead of cricket!!
