Uththamavee Plus Savings Account by Sanasa Bank

Colombo, 19 March, (Asiantribune.com): Sanasa Development Bank re-launched their Uththamavee Plus Women’s Savings Account to suit the requirements of the present market and the re-launch took place at the BMICH.

Uththamavee Plus is a savings account for women and any woman over 16 years of age are eligible to open an account with an initial deposit of Rs 250 and the account would accrue an annual interest of 7.5 percent, a 10 percent interest would be offered when the account reaches above Rs 100,000.

Those women who open savings accounts with Sanasa upto April 30th will receive attractive gfts such as Umbrellas and ladies’ hand bags to those accounts that maintain Rs 25,000. There are also insurance policies offered to these account holders.

If this balance is maintained for 12 months prior to marriage, the account holder will receive a half a sovereign gold ring on her wedding. There are several other benefits too when the Account fulfills various other contiditions.

Along with the re-launch of the Uththamavee Plus, Sanasa also felicitated several selected women who have reached national excellence in various fields and among them were such personalities, like Ms Sunetra Bandaranaike, Minister Ms Ferial Ashraff and Ms Bisomenike Kiriwandeniya.
