East Provincial Council: UPFA leads in Kalkudah Polling Division votes count in Batticaloa district

Colombo, 11 May, (Asiantribune.com): UPFA Leads in Kalkudha in the Batticaloa district with 66.81 percent, out of the total votes polled.

In the East Provincial Council Election, Kalkudah Polling Division in Batticaloa district, votes count is released.

Out of the total of 94,359 registered votes in the polling division,
61,556 votes were polled. At the counting 6,778 votes were rejected.

Out of the 54,900 valid votes, United People's Freedom Alliance received 36,731 votes which was 66.81% of the total votes polled, followed by United National Party 15,673 which was 28.51% votes and Eelam Democratic Front received 1,421 votes which was 2.58 %.
