East Provincial Council: UNP leads in Muthur Polling Division votes count in Trincomalee district

Colombo, 11 May, (Asiantribune.com): UNP Leads in Muthur polling Division in the Trincomalee district with 58.08% percent, out of the total votes polled.

In the East Provincial Council Election, Muthure Polling Division in Trincomalee district, votes counts released.

Out of the total of 84,175 registered votes in the polling division,
51,567 votes were polled. At the counting 3,779 votes were rejected.

Out of the 47,788 valid votes, United National Party obtained 28,233 votes which is 58.08% of the total votes polled, followed by United People's Freedom Alliance which received 18,451 votes which is 38.61 %, and United Socialist Party received 495 votes which is 1.04%.
