East Provincial Council: UPFA leads in Seruwila Polling Division votes count in Trincomalee district

Colombo, 11 May, (Asiantribune.com): UPFA Leads in Seruwila polling Division in the Trincomalee district with 61.47% percent, out of the total votes polled.

In the East Provincial Council Election, Seruwila Polling Division in Trincomalee district, votes counts released.

Out of the total of 66,690 registered votes in the polling division, 38,835 votes were polled. At the counting 3,185 votes were rejected.

Out of the 35,650 valid votes, United People's Freedom Alliance obtained 21,915 votes which is 61.47% of the total votes polled, followed by United National Party which received 10,855 votes which was 30.45 %, and Janatha Vimukthi Perumuna received 2,886 votes which was 6.41%.
