East Provincial Council: UNP leads in Kalmunai Polling Division votes count in Amparai district

Colombo, 11 May, (Asiantribune.com): UNP Leads in Kalmunai polling Division in the Amparai district with 66.46% percent, out of the total votes polled.

In the East Provincial Council Election, Kalmunai Polling Division in Amparai district, votes counts released.

Out of the total of 64,316 registered votes in the polling division, 44,354 votes were polled. At the counting 2,832 votes were rejected.

Out of the 41,522 valid votes, United National Party obtained 27,596 votes which is 66.46% of the total votes polled, followed by United Peioples Freedom Alliance received 13,478 votes which was 32.4 %, and United National Alliance received 174 votes which was 0.42%.
