East Provincial Council: UPFA leads in Amparai Polling Division votes count in Amparai district

Colombo, 11 May, (Asiantribune.com): UPFA Leads in Amparai polling Division in the Amparai district with 57.10% percent, out of the total votes polled.

In the East Provincial Council Election, Amparai Polling Division in Amparai district, votes counts released.

Out of the total of 143,170 registered votes in the polling division, 90,723 votes were polled. At the counting 7,854 votes were rejected.

Out of the 82,869 valid votes, United Peoples Freedom Alliance, obtained 47,319 votes which is 57.10% of the total votes polled, followed by United National Party received 31,386 votes which was 37.87.4 %, and Janatha Vimukthi Perumuna polled 3,693 votes which was 4.46%.
