SLT conducts valuable training programmes

Colombo, 27 June, (Asiantribune.com): Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) has launched two training programmes in the first series of course in the Systems Administrator and Systems Engineer Tracks for Windows Server 2003 and serves a an entry point for other Course in the Windows Server 2003 curriculum.

The first training curse is on Managing and Maintaining Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment and the other on Oracle Database 10g (SQL). Windows 2003 Server Course is held on five Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm. Oracle 10G course is on Wednesdays and Fridays and also starts at 9 and ends at 5 pm for five days. These training programmes are conducted in the SLT training centre at Mahabage Ragama.

Windows Server Course provides managing and maintaining Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment 2273 and provides five days of instructor lead training with additional E-learning content to provide students with knowledge and skills that are required to manage accounts and resources, maintain server resources, manage server performance and safeguard data in Microsoft Windows 2003 environment.

Oracle Database 10g offers an introduction to Oracle 10g database technology that includes basic concepts of relational database and powerful SQL programming language. It provides the essential SQL skills that enable to write queries against single and multiple dabbles, multiple databases to create database objects and queries meta database.

SLT also provides customized ICT course for corporate. Sri Lanka Telecom Training Centre provides training on Telecommunications Switching, Data Connection, Optical Fibre Connection, Transmission Systems, Information Technology and Management fields.
