By Ruwan Weerakoon in Colombo

Colombo, 05 February, (Asiantribune.com): Sri Lanka Army’s 55 Division commanded by Brigadier Prasna Silva captured Chali, one of the main sea Tiger base. LTTE’s sea Tiger base Chali is one of main baseS from where the LTTE have their loading and unloading of weapons to Sri Lanka and also they do have the biggest Sea Tiger base.

Today morning around 10.00AM a 12 years old girls came in front of the troops raising her hands pretending as if she was going to surrender and when soldiers went close to here she blew herself. This is evidence that LTTE uses Children for suicide bombing.

In the meantime, top rung LTTE leaders Vinayagam alias Mike -4, Pagalavan, Cader, Sinnakannan, Annavelan and at least a dozen more of them were killed in the battle to capture Chalai.
