Protest by Tamil Terrorist (LTTE). What does it mean to Canada?

By Lenin Benedict from Toronto Asian Tribune

The financial meltdown has unleashed a latent and emergent social crisis across the Canada. This economic crisis is in large part the result to the detriment of entire population, leading to a renewed wave of corporate bankruptcies, mass unemployment and poverty. When people across Canada, whose lives have been shattered, destroyed, struggling hard to run their day to day life and future in jeopardy, Some Canadian Tamil treat it as a hobby; others are a lot more passionate to have protest throughout Canadian cities in spite of struggling economy and recession. The month long Protests by Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam better known as Tamil Tigers is seems to be like style of that which was seen during the Civil Wars.

All sectors of Canadian society are potentially affected: wage earners, small, medium and even large businesses, farmers, professionals, federal, State and municipal employees, students, teachers, health workers, and unemployed. There is, however, at this stage, no organized national resistance movement directed against the Protesters and Terrorist group. All Canadians inclusive of Protesters need to understand the danger of bringing youths and students to take part in this protest or rallies and know how to act responsibly.

With the emotions of Tamils getting worse and worse day by day, the possibility of civil unrest is becoming a greater threat to the Canadian civil and security establishments. One need only look at other nations for what might happen to Canada next. The brutal attack on Indian High Commission, Sri Lankan High Commission in London-U.K and attack on Chinese Mission in Germany were a concrete result of Tamil youth militancy spreading across globe. The violent and noisy protest across world capitals and metropolitan organized by LTTE controlled Diasporas which brought huge number of Tamils, especially the youths and students are an evidence of a tight control of the Tamil community by LTTE. Though LTTE been proscribed as a Terrorist organization by several countries where the protest has taken place, those countries have failed to implement their own ban by allowing the Protesters to carry LTTE flag and its leader’s picture shows, which depicted the total failure of police, security and justice mechanism in those countries.

The so called mass protest or rallies organized by LTTE Diaspora in Canada in several places, where organizers had discreetly avoided to come forward to speak to the media on behalf of the "letter-head" organization that organized the event, clearly showed that LTTE was behind this clandestine operation. By putting youths and students on the front line in all countries, the LTTE wants to show the world or threaten indirectly to the concerned Governments that if the respective countries failed to listen to them, it can go further to destabilize them with their youth and students power.

Some street fights with police force by these youths in several countries, were clear indication that LTTE is ready to challenge any Government authority by all means. Protest and rallies are a part of our Democratic system and firmly protected by Charter of Rights. But everyone should understand that there is a bottom line and a limit to everything. Will the same Democracy is practiced or allowed to practice by LTTE in their De Facto Government? NO, Absolutely NO.

The cost of Security arrangements and additional police force on duty cost a lot to our ailing economy and a burden for taxpayers. There is already a cry from our municipal authorities on who is going to bear the cost of additional security expenses and requested federal funding by Ottawa municipality is one example of the situation. Furthermore, If the amount of time and energy spent on this violent protest and rallies are diverted to our struggling economy, it would have helped our Country and the money earned could have helped our Internally Displaced People in North.

Will any of my Tamil community members had ever thought of the plight of civilians in the Vanni? If so, Instead of asking International community to help, why not raise slogan to release the innocent civilians from war zone to Pirabaharan? That means the Tamil community is well aware that Pirabaharan will not listen to them. Is it not so? And the true nature of this Protest and rallies are only to save Pirabaharan and not the civilians. Is it not so? The Government of Canada and its security establishments are well aware of the protesters and who are behind certain clandestine operations.

It’s the duty of the responsible Government to protect its citizens from any of terrorists’ adventures that might befall on them . Due to the nature of the organizers and experiences that been gained by our police, it is good to keep the children away from these protest. There were incidents in Swiss and London –UK, LTTE carders has immolated themselves in front of the crowd and the same might happen in Canada too, just to draw attention and publicity. Taking life and giving life (Suicides) are very common acts of LTTE. In all those rallies and protests, thousands of children were brought by their parents to participate. Therefore the Canadian Government should take appropriate measures to protect children and and prevent the suicide culture incalculated in the mindsets of these children.

The Ministry of Public Safety is responsible for the safety of all Canadian citizens and there ore should create a special unit to monitor and curb social unrest which is directly and indirectedly organized and propagated discreetly by the front organizations of the LTTE, a ruthless terrorist organizations that propogate the culture of suicide to promotes its aim of subduing authorities through threats and intimidations.

Also should protect National Security and uphold public safety by targeting criminal networks, their financial networks and Terrorist organizations that seek to exploit our Democracy and freedom rights. The Public Safety Ministry should collect data on the organizers and their background information includes of date and place of birth, citizenship, current address and their anti-social history, current employment and employment history, current phone numbers and phone number history, use of government services and tax filings.

Other contextual data may include bank account and credit card histories, measures taken to launder terrorists’ funds, drug trafficking, credit card fraudulent activities plus criminal database records on a local, state and federal level. The database also could include legal judgments or other public records documenting involvement in legal disputes. Most importantly a complete back ground check on members of Foreign Terrorist organization and Domestic radical groups. How this process will take place is very hard to predict but the end result is a safer and more secure Canada.

Further latest information reveals, but yet to be confirmed those real representatives of the clandestine terrorist organization – LTTE are involved in establishing links with international terrorists organization like Al Queda and other groups.

Mr.RCMP, WHile you are at

Mr.RCMP,

WHile you are at checking into money laundering, also investigate their gas stations and grocery stores. Some grocery store carry , calenders of the LTTE and other paraphanalia. Some also display garlanded portraits of LTTE "SUN DOG", with blatant disregard to Canadian Laws.

I wish that the British,

I wish that the British, French and most others "interested" in this crisis reads this. Let those fighting to get the LTTE saved, learn what type of monster they are releasing and what is a problem in SL today will be the worlds problem of tomorrow. Let's not create another Osama out of Prabhakaran.

Mr.Benedict, I was watching

Mr.Benedict,

I was watching you the other day in that show with that Micahel guy.what was funny to me was that the presentator himself has not done any home work on the issue .Pity,He did not know the name of the leader of the LTTE so what more can we say?Ofcourse he confessed the issue is far distanced to him.but ofcourse not now as once sri lanka finishes off LTTE ,Canada will begin it.

I want to thank you for your contribution towards this cause that has brought immense hardships to tamil people than the sinhalese.but hardly anyone in the west is not interested in the true picture or the pain of the people of wanni.A mystery to me.

LTTE has brought new leaders to the world ,emergence of new tamil writers of great caliber proves this.Of course tamils are not without leaders, once this terror ends they will slowly emerge and it takes time.

I truly appriciate what you were trying to emphasise to the audience .keep up your work your people needs you now and tomorrow would be too late for them.

and one more thing there is no need for you to change your first name.it looks fine to me.I grew up reading Lennin and Marx.
