London, 12 May, (Asiantribune.com): Nearly 40 pro Tamil Tiger protesters have been arrested so far by London Metropolitan Police on Monday afternoon (11th May) at the illegal demonstration in front of the British Parliament.
Traffic in Central London near Westminster came to a standstill as few hundreds of Tamil Tiger supporters staged an unauthorized sit-in around the Houses of Parliament.
Around 300-400 Tamil supporters calling for an immediate ceasefire in Sri Lanka pushed past police lines in Parliament Square which is a high security zone and banned area for any kind of unauthorised events since 2005.
.
However they took up positions illegally sitting in the middle of the road between the Parliament square and Whitehall near the British Foreign Office breaking the Law of the land and British Terrorism Act 2000.
Police diverted traffic and the main gates entrance to the Houses of Parliament were closed off. And the approaches to Parliament Square from Westminster Bridge and Whitehall also were closed due to violent behavior of the protesters.
Tamil Tiger supporters, including several hunger strikers, have been camped in Parliament Square since last month created traffic chaos in the area. Last month, two protesters jumped into the River Thames and several arrests were made during a march attended by thousands.

It is obvious that the
It is obvious that the western countries, who blindly supported the Tamil Diaspora in particular the LTTE supporters, are now demanding action from these western countries, by use of thuggery and intimidation.
These actions were ignored by the politicians in the west thinking that their constituents were right; the time has come where the whole world will now see how the LTTE operates.
Thanks to the support of the Indian Central govt, Russia and most importantly China the Sri Lankans will raise their heads again.
Wonder why this diaspora so
Wonder why this diaspora so stupid ? They have better life in west, if they are not real idiots they will understand what harm LTTE made for their community in SL.

It seems to be a numbers
It seems to be a numbers game because of political advantage. The large number of Tamils in London, Toronto and Paris can influence politicians who cater to cheap political gains. In Canada at least 5 Liberal Party MPs are depend on Tamil vote for electoral victory. This makes the so called freedoms expressed in a democracy redundant. The few who violently agitate get their way at the expense of silent majority. This happened in Sri Lanka, when a band of youth took up arms against the state. The majority of the Tamils did not have voice to stop them. They silenced every Tamil who had a different voice by Lamp Post Murders and targeted assassinations. At the beginning of their campaign they only killed the Tamils to silence them before attacking the Sinhalese.
These western countries will soon realize that they are too late in putting down this kind of unlawful protests. The other groups will site the Tamil groups who has already broken the laws and spared. And some of the MPs are shameless to cave to LTTE pressure to do things not in the good spirits of Parliamentary governess. Their concerns of their electors and directing them to proper democratic goals are well deemed. But the way they act is as they are agents of LTTE.
The real fact these western governments are overlooking is this terrorist group is now cornered to a tiny piece of land in Sri Lanka. They are using innocent civilian as a protection shield, and get these Tamils living abroad to make a noise to save their skin. Sri Lankan Armed forces cannot finish this outfit because of the civilians. And recently the LTTE used heavy artillery on their own people to give twisted news to the world to say that the Sri Lankan Army has done so.

Yesterdays rally at the Toronto Highway was a fine example where the police said there is no organizer to talk to .It is apperant that all the members hid behind those pretty,fashionably,dress toronto gals who only speaks English for they can express themselves better with the RCMP and ofcourse officers too will understand them better than their parents .There was an issue with the 'Canadian accent' too.Only the children know this accent and not the adults.so they hid themselves behind those fashionably dressed girls with canadian accent.
But in the real sense what do these girls and boys really know about this distance issue in killinochi.I do not know how many of them can even pronounce the words right.
this is also fashion/competition just to prove who the most patriotic in their quest to free those civilians who they do not have anything in common.

Looks like the tamil protesters were tricked to the highway in Toronto, Canada and women and the children then put infront to deal with the police.
These protests are getting more violent and are the best things that happens in favour of the Gov of SriLanka.
More westerners are getting a first hand taste of what it takes to deal with the obnoxious tamil community at large.
In 1983 LTTE killed the SLA soldiers in the Jaffna beach, the provoked sinhala thugs went on a killing rampage did unrepairable damage to this island.
Today LTTE kills the very same people they claim to represent to agitate and provoke the tamil diaspora and certain wetern politicians sympathatic to their cause.
No matter how you slice it is the hapless tamils that are used as a football for the LTTE to live another day.

If they are too difficult to control send them to Sri Lanka, government and the militery will be glad to receive them and teach them to be good and peaceful.
I wish there be more
I wish there be more protests, more public disorder in these respective countries!.
And please don't deport them to Sri Lanka, keep them with you!.
