A conference of South Asian countries to improve TV and Radio in South Asia being held in Beijing

Colombo, 13 May, (Asiantribune.com): A conference of South Asian countries to improve TV and Radio in South Asia was inaugurated Monday 11 in Beijing.

Sri Lankan Minister of Mass Media and Information and Minister of Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion, Anura Priyadharshana Yapa, SLBC Chairman Hudson Samarasinghe, and Rupavahini Technical Advisor Saman Ediriweera are the participants representing Sri Lanka.

Several SAARC countries are participating. Sri Lankan Minister of Mass Media, Anura Priyadharshana Yapa is due to make a keynote address at the conference on Wednesday 13. This conference winds up in Beijing on Friday May 15.
