Ranil Wickremasinghe Government vehemently condemns the statements made by Leader of the Opposition Ranil Wickremesinghe in Belgium and London regarding Sri Lanka. It is nothing short of political treachery".
This was stated by Minister of Mass Media, Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena at a press conference in Colombo today.
"The Sri Lanka Government is conducting military operations against the LTTE terrorists in such a manner that they do not inflict any harm on innocent civilians held hostage by the LTTE . The international community has commended the Sri Lanka Government for this. At a crucial moment like this, what the Opposition Leader Wickremesinghe should do is to support the Sri Lanka Government in its endeavor to eradicate terrorism from the country, and not indulge in making treacherous statements against the Sri Lanka Government".
"Wickremesinghe is also pulling strings to ensure that Sri Lanka will not receive the IMF loan. The ethnic question in Sri Lanka is an internal matter and should be solved internally. There is ample evidence to show that the LTTE is shooting down their own people when bidding to flee the LTTE controlled areas. It is the duty of the Opposition Leader to expose this fact to the international community".
"LTTE thugs and hooligans have attacked the Kingsbury Viharaya for the 8th time. But the international media is quite silent about this. If such an attack on a place of religious worship were caused by the armed forces of Sri Lanka the international media will make a big hue and cry".
"The Sri Lanka Government is capable of destroying the balance LTTE forces in a short time of 2 hours, but we are not doing so out of consideration to the civilians trapped in the safe zone. We shall never attack our own innocent Tamil citizens but we are determined to route LTTE terrorism out of our country. That is why we are taking such a long time to finish this battle," added Minister Abeywardena.

Laksman Kiriella made a statement in parliament that Ranil is a very patriotic person and his mission is to enhance the good image of Sri Lanka abroad on his travel to Europe. But every time he went abroad he became the mouth piece of the Tamil Tigers. He has no conscience to publicize the LTTE attacks on Buddhist places of worship around the world. He has not once spoken about the Embassy attack in Norway. He has not even spoken with an accusing finger on LTTE ever. He is supported by the shameless Sri Lankan businessman who has not heritage on both sides. The Mudalali’s who used the SLFP to redress their grievances and come to the lime light, once they make the money becomes an UNPr big time. We have to have some system where we can wipe out these unfit politicians forever.

Ranil and other UNP MPs who have been acting in a detrimental manner to Sri Lanka and its nation will soon be wiped out from the Sri Lankan political arena together with the LTTE's demise. Ranil has practically proved that he is incapable of holding a leadership. First and foremost a leader should strive hard to protect his/her nation from both internal and external dangers. But Ranil appears to be doing the opposite. His subservience to the west is very well known and not tolerated by every Sri Lankan. This is another reason why people do not elect. However, traitors can not survive in a country like Sri Lanka for a long time.

The International Community has commended Government of Sri Lanka's present handling the on going War with Terrorists, assuring no conflicts of any harm on innocent Civilians hostaged by the LTTE. As a former PM of his Country Ranil Wickremasinghe's 'damaging accusation' is highly crucial; when all Leaders the World demand LTTE in releasing the 'Wrongful Capture of Innocent Tamils' and Sri Lanka; Not employing heavy weaponary and air strikes; within the short boundary of 2.5 km. - sandwitched by the Indian Ocean and a stream of unsalted waters.
Mr. Wickremasinghe's disturbing non-peaceful, endeavour in eradicating terrorism from the Country altogether and Not Indulging in "Composing Treacherous Statement!" against his Country fortunately by chance became a "Short lived PM."
As there is no birth of rising Sun in his political carrier as a.m. he will always live away from a.m. but live in p.m. with No Rising Sun in future. Let the present Government of Sri Lanka may Shine at all times; Dawn at am and Not with p.m.
