THE END!
THE END!
It is sad to see Sri Lankan
It is sad to see Sri Lankan die for no reason. International community is responsible for prolonging this crisis for the last 2 weeks. They gave false hope to the LTTE that they would negotiate a ceasefire and caused unnecessary death of hundreds of people in Sri Lanka.
If not for these false hopee, LTTE would have surrendeded a few weeks ago and several hundreds of lives could have been saved.
We do not celebrate the
We do not celebrate the death. And we never did.
But the deaths of these terror masters are necessary part of the peace process.
Those dead never understood what peace is all about.
This is an unprecedented
This is an unprecedented victory for the government of Sri Lanka, the Sri Lankan armed forces and the people of the nation. The enormous sacrifices and the pain of millions of Sri Lankans endured over 30 long years must now translate to building and growing a just and prosperous society for all its citizens. We must ask ourselves what gave rise to Tamil extremism and LTTE barbarianism and ensure those underlying causes which gave rise to extremism are addressed to the complete delight of all of the nations communities. The collective relief from the total destruction of the LTTE machinery and its leaders hopefully will create a free environment for all Sri Lankans to objectively assess those legitimate grievances of minorities and work together to evolve a system that ensures fairness, dignity and respect for all individual citizens.
