Nawaloka completes two decades and one year in National Health Service

Colombo, 01 October, (Asiantribune.com): Nawaloka Hospital which was started in 1985 with 100 beds and well equipped intensive care unit is now 21 year old and developed to be one of the foremost Private Hospitals in Sri Lanka. The Hospital imported the first CT Scanner to the country in 1992 and started the first Mammography unit installed.

Today Nowloka Hospital has the facilities improved by providing minimally-invasive laparoscopic surgery, a cardiac catheterisation, a coronary artery bypass surgery unit, etc.

In 1998 the hospital won the national Quality Award and in 2000 the ISO certification.

This year the Hospital began construction of their new building which will be equipped with ultra-modern surgical unit and also has started the networking of all its hospital systems into the totally-integrated Nawaloka on line.
