A delegation of Sri Lanka businessmen to attend the Europeasia Business Convention in Lyon

Colombo, 16 January, (Asiantribune.com): A number of Sri Lankan businessmen will attend forthcoming the Europeasia Business Convention 2007 to be held in Lyon, France this year. It will be held on April 2nd, 3rd and 4th and the event will focus on 3 main sectors – environmental technologies and chemicals, transportation systems and healthcare.

The event is organized with the objective of creating a platform for business organizations from many countries to be introduced to each other and establish new business opportunities. Decision makers from France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Sweden, China, India, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam are expected to participate in this event. The European Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka will be leading a business delegation comprising of several organizations in the environmental technologies and chemicals, transportation systems and healthcare sectors.

This year’s programme will include individual business meetings, workshops and personalized advice to business entities. The workshops will be conducted by international experts and will cover topics such as fiscal matters, commercial, industrial regulations, intellectual property, logistics etc. Further, a team of experts will be available throughout the event to give businesses advice and support in order to achieve sustainable new contacts.

Europasia is the 2nd international business convention between Europe and Asia for the promotion of commercial and industrial cooperation. The European Union will be represented by France, Spain, Italy, Germany and Sweden while Sri Lanka, China, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand and Vietnam will represent Asia.
