ICICI Bank promotes young talent

Colombo, 27 March, (Asiantribune.com): The ICICI Bank in Colombo treated 450 children studying in the nursery level to Second Standard to a drawing competition in a bid to protrude their creativity power and talent.

The Bank would be using this art competition and exhibition as a platform to reach out to its young customers. The ICICI Bank Young Stars account is tailored in such a way that its processes involve both children and parents. The Young Stars account is an innovative attempt to guide children through the world of banking.

The children drew on themes such as - "Fruits and flowers", for Nursery 1 and 2; "My Family" or Fish in the Sea" for Standard 1 and "My House" or "My favourite Pet" for Standard 2. The competition culminated with the exhibition where all the drawings were displayed.

The three winners are: Maleeza from the Nursery Class of Royal Institute, Sathvigan from Standard 1 of Royal Institute and Kavindhi from Standard 2 of Royal Institute.

Sachin Sikka,Senior Vice President, Head- Retail Liabilities ICICI speaking at the occasion said that the Young Stars children’s account is yet another in a long line of pioneering products that customers can expect from ICICI Bank, and the Drawing Competition is just one of the value added features that customers can expect from the Bank.

“This particular product has been extremely well received due to its attractive features and value added facilities and ICICI has plans to continue rewarding our young bankers” said Mr Sikka.
