Ceremonial sittings for new Chief Justice
Colombo, 23 January, (Asiantribune.com):
he ceremonial sittings for the newly appointed Chief Justice Mohan Peiris will be held today at 10 am, at the 501 main hall of the Superior Courts complex in the Hulftsdorp.
The Chief Justice Mohan Peris will be welcome by Bar and it should not be mistaken to Bar Association, a spokesman for the Bar told Asian Tribune .
The Chief Justice belong to the Bar and there are thousands lawyers in the Bar it is learnt they are happy to welcome the Chief Justice today at the ceremonial sitting.
