Special Bana Sermon At The Embassy of Sri Lanka In Paris
A special Bana ceremony was organized at the Embassy of Sri Lanka on 25th January 2013 on the eve of Duruthu Full Moon Poya, observed as the day on which the Buddha first visited Sri Lanka with a mission to restore peace.
The special sermon on this occasion was delivered by the Ven. Dr Bodagama Chandima Nayaka Thero, International Advisor to His Excellency the President of Sri Lanka.
The Ven. Nayaka Thero stressed the importance of understanding the self, purifying the mind and working for the good of the country overcoming all obstacles.
Members of the staff of the Embassy and their families participated at this event.
