65th Independence Day Celebrations - Consulate General of Sri Lanka – Jeddah

Jeddah, 07 February, (Asiantribune.com):

Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Jeddah Celebrated the 65th Independence of Sri Lanka at the Consulate premises on 04.02.2013.

The Independence Day celebration was attended by Sri Lankan expats living in the Western region of Saudi Arabia.

Consul General Dr. Athambawa Uthumalebbe hoisted the National flag and delivered the message from President Mahinda Rajapaksha.

Consul General on his address to the gathering said “the unity among communities was vital factors for the development of the country” and he also conveyed his best wishes to all Sri Lankans and persons of Sri Lankan origin residing in Saudi Arabia.
