Mohannad calls Sri Lanka as his second home

S.H.Moulana -Riyadh

Mohannad Al Shamrani who was on an extensive tour of Sri Lanka with his wife is back in the kingdom. He was highly impressed with the hospitality and extra ordinary friendliness he found among the people of the island nation.

He told me that his two day stay in Nuwareliya was the icing on the cake of his trip. It is absolutely fitting to call that place the 'little England' he said.

He was sad that the hill capital Kandy did not have as many five star facilities to accommodate the inflow of large number of tourists. He also told me his stay at Bentota and the boat rides were just out of the world.

He did not fail to pay a courtesy call to the Governor Alavi Mowlana in his office, in Colombo, who is a very close friend of his father Saad Al Shamrani.

Mohannad praised the hotel and tour arrangements made by the local agent who personally accompanied him to everywhere he traveled.

He also liked the way Sri Lankan Airline treated the island bound tourists from Saudi Arabia and he expressed his appreciation to the Station Manager Rizvi, in Riyadh, for his excellent personal care for the tourists especially.

Mohannad promised to recommend Sri Lanka to all his Saudi friends as an ideal location for a holiday. In short it is real value for money he said.
