Senseless killings of its own nationals, in Pakistan, continue!

By S.H.Moulana - Riyadh.

The recent blast in Pakistan is considered to be the deadliest incident in Pakistan since a series of similar bombings in January killed 86 in the same city Quetta.

Anger is growing among Pakistan’s Shiites over perceived security failings. It has come to a point that any killings numbering less than a dozen are treated as not newsworthy for publication in any media.

Innocent people in the market place or in places of worship are being killed like mosquitoes or flies. Where would you see people from health department administering polio vaccine being killed and school going girls are being hunted down except here?

The latest bomb which was hidden in a water tank and towed into the market by a tractor was remotely detonated.

The explosion, it is reported, destroyed shops in the residential suburb and caused a two-storey building to collapse, burying people in the rubble.

It is expected the final death toll to reach the century mark since 20 more in hospital are in critical condition.

Many of the Shiite in Quetta are Hazaras, an ethnic group that migrated over the Afghan border more than a century ago – before the creation of Pakistan. ‘There is a law of the jungle, but in this country I think here is not even a law of the jungle’ said Seyed Abbas Naqvi, a Shiite.

‘The government knows exactly who is doing what and who is behind all this’ said Mohammad Imran, a local trader. We grieve the loss of innocent lives in the hands of fanatics, who have been misguided by the extremists of being ‘fast tracked to heaven’……….

But we assure that the hell-fire is awaiting these heartless brutes!
