President Participates in Sil Campaigns in Schools

Colombo, 24 May, (Asiantribune.com):
President Mahinda Rajapaksa, on Thursday (23) visited several schools in Colombo which had organized Sil campaigns to mark Vesak Week.
Sil campaigns were organized in all schools in view of Wesak Week. The President visited St. Paul’s Girl's school, Lumbini Vidyalaya and Sirimavao Bandaranaike Vidyalaya and interacted with the students who were participating in the sil campaign. The President also participated in religious observances with the school children.
The President was joined by Minister Bandula Gunawardena
