A blessing in disguise!

By S.H.Moulana - Riyadh

The Confederation Cup victory for Brazil is a blessing in disguise for the Brazilian government facing an unprecedented massive protest from the dissatisfied public on numerous unsolved issues.

In the meantime, we are fully aware that how much the Brazilian football team is being adored and loved by the Arab football fans, in this part of the world, whenever it competes with another country.

Brazil's victory over world and European champions, Spain by 3 goals to 0, would have definitely brightened the day for every Arab football fan. I would not hesitate to call Brazil as an 'Arab Idol'! !

This is Brazil's third consecutive FIFA Confederation Cup win. In an extra ordinary atmosphere created by the home crowd, Brazil players responded very well and no doubt, they thoroughly deserved this record breaking victory.

By this performance Brazil has already sent a 'warning' to all other countries taking part in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, to be held in the home country. Brazil has won the World Cup five times so far the highest number by any country and it is the only country which was qualified to take part in the all 19 tournaments held so far since 1930!

What more credentials a country needs to be a threat to other competitors, come 2014! Go Brazil go!
